Update time:2022-01-04

The following are listed as contraindications to vaccination by the World Health Organization (WHO):

Immunological abnormalities, such as patients with congenital or acquired immunodeficiency, malignant tumors and other diseases, as well as those with corticosteroids, alkylating agents, antimetabolites or radiation therapy and their immune function is suppressed, generally cannot receive live attenuated vaccines , For example, the live attenuated polio vaccine cannot be taken orally, and the measles vaccine cannot be vaccinated.

For patients with acute infectious diseases, if the vaccinee is suffering from acute infectious diseases with fever or obvious symptoms of general malaise, vaccination should be postponed.

Those who have experienced severe adverse reactions after vaccination in the past, such as severe allergic reactions to vaccine components, or severe allergic reactions after vaccination, should not be vaccinated with the same vaccine again.

Children with progressive neurological diseases, such as uncontrolled epilepsy, infantile spasms or progressive encephalopathy, should not be vaccinated with vaccines containing antigens such as encephalitis B, meningitis, and whooping cough.

When vaccination personnel are vaccinated, they should determine whether they can be vaccinated according to the child's health status. In case of contraindications clearly stipulated in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and vaccine instructions, vaccination should not be given, or vaccination should be postponed.
